Voting for 2023–2024 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals: Cardiology & Heart Surgery

The 2023–2024 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals annual "Expert Opinion" reputational physician survey for Cardiology & Heart Surgery — capturing specialists’ expert opinions on which hospitals provide high-quality cardiac care — is now open to all survey-eligible physicians and is expected to remain open through mid-March.

The Expert Opinion survey speaks to an organization's ability to develop and sustain a system that delivers high-quality care to patients with especially challenging conditions.

Why are the Cardiology & Heart Surgery Rankings important?

They serve as a guide to patients and families on where to receive their cardiac care. Students, residents and faculty also may factor these rankings into deciding where to train and practice.

Who Can Vote

To be survey-eligible, a physician must be registered on Doximity and meet U.S. News' eligibility criteria, which are determined primarily by board certification in a specialty U.S. News evaluates (15 adult specialities and 11 pediatric).

How to Vote

You must be registered on Doximity.com to participate in the online survey. If you are not currently a Doximity user, you can register at any time to vote during the voting period.

  • You can vote by logging in to Doximity.com with your username and password during the voting period—or follow the steps to have your password reset. Doximity also sends an email invitation to vote to eligible participants.
  • Once logged in, look for a U.S. News graphic or button on the home page and click on it.
  • The survey asks users to name the hospitals that provide the best care in your respective specialty. For adult specialists, the survey will allow you to list up to five hospitals in your field. However, you only need to vote for one hospital to have your ballot count.

If you have any difficulties completing the survey, contact usnews@doximity.com for assistance.
